WHO MAKES OUR PRODUCTS
Meet Fernando, our marble master form Vigevano, little town in Lombardy where Federico comes from. He has been doing that for several years and now, as he retired, we decided to learn this beautiful and hard craft. He does everything by hand and today we would like to show some pictures from behind the scenes.
Once the marble sheet is chosen, the first step is to cut it.
After the first round of cuts, it’s time to make the oblique cut, which is the most difficult to make. We designed a special mold to be able to reproduce this cut in the most efficient way.
Once all the cuts are done, it’s time to polish the trays. We dedicate a lot of time to this phase, because that’s what gives the amazing look & feel to our beautiful trays. We do it all by hand, also the coating.
